Jewelex is one of India's leading diamond manufacturers, operating at the intersection of precision craftsmanship and global trade. Jewelex recognised the need to build structured AI capability across its leadership and managerial teams. Three irreversible shifts were already underway in the industry:

• Design cycles collapsing - variants that once took days to generate now take minutes with AI, shifting competitive timelines.

• Quality moving toward machine-level accuracy - near-zero defect tolerance was becoming the new industry standard.

• Decision-making becoming data-driven - businesses that continued to rely on intuition were already falling behind peers who had embedded AI into their planning and analysis.

Solution

BOTS.ai (by HR Anexi) designed and delivered 5 live sessions of PromptStart for Jewelex. Leaders across functions were put directly into real Jewelex business scenarios and asked to solve them live using ChatGPT, experiencing firsthand how AI compresses hours of manual work into minutes with better outputs.

The intervention included:

1. AI in Jewellery Manufacturing and the possibilities of AI

Participants explored how AI is already disrupting their industry globally. The session created urgency without fear.

2. GenAI 101 - How AI Works - LLMs, Agents, and Choosing the Right Tool

A grounded session on Traditional AI vs Generative AI vs Agentic AI, how LLMs work, and a practical comparison of LLMs with a specific focus on when to use ChatGPT's Standard, Deep Research, Agent modes, and how each mode suits different Jewelex tasks.

3. Prompting

Participants learned the anatomy of an effective prompt - Role, Task, Context, Reasoning, Output Format, Stop Conditions and applied it immediately to real Jewelex scenarios. Live prompting demonstrated the difference between vague instructions and structured, high-quality outputs.

4. Safe, Smart & Secure AI Use

A module on AI risks specific to manufacturing - leakage of design IP and costing documents, AI hallucination, shadow AI exposure, and building a responsible AI culture with clear guardrails for the entire organisation.

5. The Spark Stations Challenge - 10 things you can do with AI

Teams worked on Jewelex business tasks: vendor proposal comparison with weighted decision justification, CAD workflow bottleneck analysis, global and India AI trend research for quality control, data analysis and dashboard creation, client presentation quality audit were some of the usecases worked on by participants to experience the power of AI in saving time and producing quality outputs.
